AND WE'RE BACK - THE FIRST WORKSHOP OF 2016 IS RAW MEATS!

Summer is the perfect time of the year to prepare and eat raw meats! If the idea of raw meats scares you then this is your opportunity to get outside your kitchen comfort zone, introduce some raw meats into your diet, dazzle your family and friends with something a little different and further expand your culinary repertoire! You will be surprised and delighted at how delicious raw meats can be. We have all heard of and eaten sushi before but in this 2.5 hour workshop we will be preparing and eating Peruvian Ceviche, French steak Tartare, Italian Carpaccio and ever-so-slightly-seared 100% wild salmon.  

Consider that all traditional societies ate a combination of both cooked foods and raw, enzyme-rich foods not only in the form of raw plant matter but also raw animal foods including raw fish and raw muscle and organ meats. This practice has fallen by the wayside in most western cultures today...and I’m on a serious mission to bring it back to the modern table!


THE COST OF THE 2.5 HOUR WORKSHOP IS $100 PER PERSON AND INCLUDES:

  • A detailed workshop booklet covering theory and recipes
  • A 1 hour informative nutritional theory discussion and Q&A
  • Practical demonstrations
  • Hands-on experience
  • Food tasting of 4 different raw meat dishes

THIS WORKSHOP IS IDEAL FOR:

  • Those who are dairy-free
  • Athletes, PTs or others wanting to consume easily-digested foods especially pre-post training
  • Anyone who wishes to broaden their culinary repertoire
  • People who routinely prepare raw meats but wish to hear more about the nutritional benefits of raw meats or wish to gain some culinary tips
