Organic Chicken Bone Broth
We were the first to offer organic bone broth in the Australian marketplace in 2010.
Our broth is Australian Certified Organic, 100% Australian grown, made and packed.
Bone broth (or stock) is an age-old elixir of health, consumed by traditional societies the world over. Rich in collagen, gelatin and complex flavours, bone broth is comforting, nourishing and satisfying. Broth has a myriad of health benefits including supporting strong immunity, balancing out muscle meat and egg intake, helping to build, maintain and repair our osteo-skeletal system, promoting healthy digestive function, making skin and hair glow, and calming the nervous system.
Our chicken broth is made from chicken frames from 100% pastured chickens ethically raised on a certified organic farm. The frames are roasted for 45 minutes to impart additional flavour then long, slow-simmered for 16-18 hours.
Free from gluten, dairy, preservatives and FODMAPs.
Available in a 500ml or 1L glass jar.
Opening lid: Our jars are intentionally vacuum sealed and airtight to keep the broth fridge-stable for up to 12 months. To open, firmly tap the lid (not the jar!) a few times on a chopping board, or carefully insert a knife under the lid to break the vacuum seal. The lid should then easily open.
Serve: Gently heat and enjoy 1-2 cups per day as a nourishing hot drink, enhanced with your choice of flavour additions like lemon juice, minced ginger, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chilli, tamari, or one of our convenient organic immunity boosting cubes. Alternatively, use as a flavourful, nutrient-dense base for soups, stews, casseroles and risottos in place of water.
Storage: Sold refrigerated. Fridge-stable for 12 months. Store between 1℃ and 5℃. Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 7 days. Do not freeze in jar.
